What the work involves:

As our new (Python) software developer you will be responsible for the development of various solutions in the DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (DDI) environment. Furthermore, you will independently carry out various migration projects from Perl to Python. In addition, promising cloud environments, especially AWS, will play an increasingly important role in your tasks as a software developer at n3k.

Your qualifications:

You hold an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or possess an equivalent qualification
You have very good scripting knowledge in Python
You have knowledge in RedHat Enterprise Linux 8 and 9
You preferably have a RedHat certification
You have knowledge of cloud environments especially in AWS
You might hold an AWS certification at associate level
You are willingness for continuous (online) training
You have a good command of written and spoken German and English

What the work involves

You will take charge of and be responsible for IT projects for our customers.
You will actively advise and support customers and prospects in the implementation of DNS, DHCP and IP address management projects.
You will help prospects to perform test installations.
You will work closely with our sales team.
You will assist our customers with technical issues and challenges.
You will be responsible for testing new product versions and be involved in their ongoing development.

Your qualifications

You hold a degree in IT or an equivalent qualification.
You have comprehensive TCP/IP and UNIX knowledge.
Teamwork and communication skills are your strengths.
You find it easy to familiarize yourself with new technologies without others showing you how.
You have a good command of German and English.
You can demonstrate programming skills, especially in scripting languages.

Scripting & Automation Talent

What the work involves

You will be responsible for developing automated processes and analyses for our customers.
You will actively advise and support customers in the implementation of automated processes in the fields of DNS, DHCP and IP address management (DDI).
You will support our consulting team in data migrations in the area of DDI and develop your own tools for this purpose.
You will improve existing scripts or implement completely new ones.
You will develop uniform coding standards for all of the scripting languages used in projects.

Qualifications

You hold a degree in IT or an equivalent qualification.
You have basic TCP/IP and UNIX knowledge.
You find it easy to familiarize yourself with new technologies without others showing you how.
You have a good command of German and English.
You have programming skills, especially in scripting languages (Perl/Python).
You have already used SQL, REST and SOAP.
